Where it all started.

Graphic Design, Service Design, User Interface Design, UX, you name it, we know it - well.

We were designers ourselves.  We still are.


We put our skills to use and have designed a new way to connect businesses with designers. 

We don't call it recruitment. We call it connecting. 


We became design connectors.

We bring people who should know one another together so they can share meaningful conversations and build the foundation for a strong business relationship.

And we built a community around it.

We don't ask for favours. We offer mutual value so everybody wins in the long run.

It became the DNA Design Connector way.

Connecting people and businesses with one goal: to create a meaningful experience for them BOTH. It's the TEAM experience we are designing.

No robots or AI or machine learning here - this is about people.


We specialise in connecting designers and businesses in a partnership.  A mutually beneficial partnership.  That means a relationship where the business is more successful because of it, and the designer is fulfilled in contributing and sharing in this success. 

We know what each of their connections are capable of, we know who is in our community, and what connections need or are looking for.  This enables us to instantaneously connect people based on needs and abilities, while increasing value for candidates and employers.

We're in constant contact with our community, so that each member stays fresh on in our minds.

We get everyone involved.  This is what makes us transparent and in control of our community - to the benefit of each person.

why DDC?

We don't want it to be crazy at work.  We don't want life to be the scraps, the doggy bag, of life.

It's time to ditch that ego.  It's time to rework work. 

It's time to connect right. DDC is built on the foundation of trust and treating people well.



The human being cannot be replicated. The human being is more important than technology. At DNA Design Community we talk about things like trust when we look for people to join our team. We look at trust, not just performance as reasons to judge whether we should let someone on our team.

In business they only want to see what your performance was and where else you worked before. They never consider trust.

Performance = how good are you at your job.

Trust = your character.

We’d rather have a medium performer with high trust on our team.

Treating people well.

Treating people right is fundamental to how we do business. We treat our employees, clients and vendors as we would want to be treated, we treat each other like family, and we treat ourselves to a good day’s work and a good night’s sleep.

It's time we start a design revolution!

Have designers let their audiences down?  Because they either stopped designing great solutions or they started designing solutions that had no bearing on audiences’ lives.  So the designs became irrelevant to audiences.

Alan leads User Experience and Service Design initiatives, including innovation and ideation. He believes that you have to get into the head of your customers, users and employees in order to understand them and design for them.
